| Anybody seen or used the new SCIII version yet? Appreciate any firsthand observations or comparisons to other SC rods.
I fish near Park Falls and was planning to add a b-stock Big Nasty to the quiver this year. This becomes another 9’ option to consider.

| FYI. I called St Croix and asked for a comparison of the new 9’ Mojo and Big Nasty (beyond warranty, grips, telescopic, carbon, etc).
The guy used both. Main points were that they throw the same large baits well. Comparable in both loading and tip flex with double 10’s in the figure 8. He favors the Mojo on feel, while Big Nasty has the lighter weight. | |

| Handled a couple, seem nicer than the old model except I really like the old trigger more! Don't care for palming reel seats. | |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | telescopic rods are nice for storage, but they will never have the sensitivity of a 1 piece rod. They can be close, but never equivalent to a true 1 piece rod. The new mojo rods are nice, but they are no big nasty. | |
