| I live in Colorado so I’m not in the musky loop...but what happened to this lure no longer being available? Did Lake X stop making it and why? |

| Just looked at Rollie & Helens Musky Shop (worlds largest musky shop) and only the Lil Bastard is showing. Check Musky Tackle on Line and they have Lake X entire surface bait offering:
https://www.muskytackleonline.com/topwater/lake-x-lures
Have know idea why R & H is only showing the Lil Bastard on their web site...2020 catalog has them all.

Location: MN | Marine General in Duluth MN still had them on the rack last week. They have a large catalog & online business, would imagine they’d send a FB to you if you order over the phone. |

| Team rhino and musky tackle online have showed sold out since December. I checked. I have one FB and love it’s sound and weight more than anything. But I was in Rollie And hellens in September and they had 2 colors even back then. So I know the Lil bastard is in..but seems strange it’s been out at every major musky shop for a while (atleast January). |

| I meant to say checked regularly. I buy a fair amount of stuff from TRO and Musky Shop. Thanks for the replies but I just wasn’t sure if they stopped making it for the lil basstard production |

Location: mercer wi | Just my opinion from talking to them, they've been super busy with making little bastards and new rubber line, I think they put everything on back burner for now. I'm sure there will be plenty of fat bastards for summer |

Location: Minnesota. | I have one I bought a few years ago and it's never been wet. I got it by accident when looking for the smaller baits in that config. then bought a few of the smaller baits.
I was feeling that the FB was so huge that it wasn't any kind of decent bait... It does looks god-awful big when it's hanging from your rod. Maybe I should try it this year but I dunno...I'll see.
That #*^@ed things like a bowling ball hanging...It never got tossed! |

| Maybe it was a Cannon Ball or Cannon Ball Jr. they are a lot bigger than a fat bastard
Lake X has a new rubber lure called the B-52. |

I agree, Fat bastard is about the size of a topraider.
Smallest to largest:
Dr. Evil
Fat Bastard
Cannonball Jr.
Cannonball |

I would say the Dr. Evil is the size of a topraider. FB a little bigger. |

| I really like FBs and have had good success with them. Wondering, what kind of success people have with Cannonball Jr. and Cannonball? I bought a FB when they first came out and had good luck, but the Cannonballs just looked too big. |

Thanks, going to give it a try. Had really good luck with the FB, once I made up my mind to use it. Bought one at a show first year they were out. Tried it, didn't like the sound, put it back in the box for a year. One of the dumber moves I have made. |

Thanks Pepper, I think you might be correct! It actually looks a bit stupid by my reckoning but the baitmaker obviously didn't feel that way.
I'm wondering if many have taken fish... I'd have trouble fishing it.

Location: Almond, WI | On LOTW this last summer, my buddy caught a 34" on a full sized Cannonball...they're not too big. Oddly enough the 50 he had swing on it missed 3 times (and a 40" he later caught on a tube swung and hooked up briefly). Most of my buddies swear by the CBJR, with the FB in second place in that lineup. |

| If you’re looking for one, I would call Thorne Bros. I’ve noticed that their website often says they’re sold out, but when you go in store, They’re on the rack. But they definitely sell out very fast. |

| Looks like Blue Ribbon has a couple of colors of the Northern Lights edition of the FB. Most colors are out of stock, there were a couple colors that had two in stock. |
