Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | Due to the need to work overtime at DuPont Co. to build on my pension formula for retirement I must cut back the number of Charters for 2004 and 2005.To do this I will stop doing Charters durring the week for the months of July,August,September and October,I will only do weekends durring those months. The first two weeks from the 3rd Saturday in June to July 4th and the month of November I will do all days.I will also not book anymore Charters for the period from December 1st to the 15th,Canadian waters. The added Liability Insurance cost is almost what it cost me for the whole year, just for 15 days in December and your not sure if the weather(Lake Effect Snow) will let you out on the water as well. This will put me down to six weeks + weekends.I need to make this move in order to get my three best years wages to build enough earnings to get an early retirement. After retirement there will be time to Charter every day. Those that are booked in those time frames that I'm no longer going to Charter, those dates will still be a go,I just won't be taking any new clients durring those time periods. For 2004 there are 9 days left for November,3 days left from the opening two weeks and 24 weekend dates still available. This was a tough decision to make, because I love being on the water every day that I can,but after retirement every day will be a fishing day!

| Larry,
Smart move on your part. And it is only for two years. It will be wonderful when you do enter retirement and can then fish any day you choose! | |
