Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs		Anyone know of an online or for purchase map of the sections of the Fox River in IL near St. Charles?

Need a smallie spot to hit when los muskos are giving me the fin!

Location: Northern Wisconsin		Early season is about your only shot for decent smallmouth in that stretch. Once the water warms the smallies seem to move upstream towards the dam where it is too shallow for a boat unless you have a jet. They like current and there is not much in that stretch. Look for current breaks and rocks and you may find smallies. Decent musky there too if you know where to look. Your best bet for smallies is from shore or wading between the dam and prairie st bridge.
