| Anybody have any issues of the power handle on the tranx 300/400 engaging on the cast? Im looking at picking one up and that was a huge problem for me on the curado 300EJ. thanks for replys |

| No. I have 2 400’s, both with PH’s. Hasn’t happened. They are great reels. |

Location: NE Ohio | NO ISSUES! i have even put the stock handle that comes with the tranx 500 on all of my 400's and never do they self-engage and i love the grip better than the round one. |

Location: Minnesota. | YES...I have. Thought there was something wrong with the reel but nope!
I took it back to Thorne Bros. where I bought it and they showed me the cause. I didn't have the counter-balanced handle and it would rotate just a wee bit "sometimes" when I cast and engage....causing my baits to swing dangerously around and nearly hook my boat partners....
Took it off and replaced with the standard handle rather than buy a balnced power handle! |
