alright guys, looking for some ideas for additional ways to target this depth from what i currently have.

i normally attack this range with baby DRs, vertical hellhounds, jb rattlers and bulldawgs, but im looking for another tool for the arsenal. i like the durability of hard baits, but the variety of options in rubber is hard to ignore.

something in the 2-4 oz range. shadzilla v, pegassus, bondy and bondy jr(ok) are all too heavy for the gear i have and like.

the 7.5" ninja tube 'mid' from team rhino is probably the closest ive found. some good color options and should cover that water zone nicely. a tiny bit heavier than ideal though.

what would you use if you had to keep it under 5oz(absolute max) to attack this water depth. mix of rocky points, weed edges and cribs.

Have you tried the Bondy Mini Wobbler? Easy to use and casts like a rocket. Made for jigging or casting.

I'm finding that a 1-3 oz Ozzie's Swimbait head (available through Thorne Bros.) is very versatile. Add a rubber skirt, Kalin's Big'N' grub and stinger hook. A smaller grub with a blade on the bottom hook eye is another option. You get the idea.

If you have not tried it, H2O Tackles Barbarian lipless crankbait. It can be jigged, cranked, trolled and pulled/jerked.

If the water temp. is below 60 at the time, ever consider a big sucker below a slip bobber set at say 10-12ft.? Kdawg
