Location: Leech Lake, Walker, MN. | Our hunting party, my son Jamie and his friends experienced a great hunt on the shores of Leech Lake on the Minneosta Deer opener. The bucks had 6, two 8's, a 9 and a 10 points. Fished on Monday and Tuesday with no action. Water temps in Walker Bay were 40 degrees. Most of the big lake was iced in.
