It’s been several years since I fished Kincaid. Been thinking of heading there in the next month or so.

Location: Northern Illinois | I'll check it out, looks like my home waters will be thawed by then so no 6 hour drive for me. |

Location: Des Plaines, IL | I was hoping to get my first trip of the year in down there with Shawnee Expeditions but they have had to shut it down because of the current executive order.
I was told water was 58-60 down there right now and I was shooting to be there the upcoming weekend for a few days. I’ve never fished it before, just trying to decide if I cancel the trip all together or if it’s still worth a shot.
Any thoughts from people familiar with the water would be much appreciated. |

Johnson Creek ramp is still open.
How's the water level? Can you get a decent size boat in and out? Last time I launched up there it was super shallow and I had a Tuffy then...

Location: Perryville, MO | Again, Johnson Creek ramp never closed. You are correct, however, about Paul Ice and the Marina ramps opening. Water temps have been 58-65. Lots of traffic from bass and crappie guys/gals. Fishing has been spotty for most. |
