A couple buddies and I are planning a trip to Cass Lake for a week next year and were wondering what everyone recommends for a resort. We are not really interested in "bells and whistles" only a nice place to stay that wont break the bank.

Thanks for the help.

I spent a week with my family at Break-on-the-lake this past spring and loved it. Good facilities and great people. I would go back in a heartbeat....

I agree. Brake on the Lake Resort is a great place to stay. The Muskie First Outings have been there the last couple years without one complaint.

Duck,

Are you sure there were no complaints? Wasn't the Shady Moon at the first MF Outing? LOL

LOL, I forgot about that. Sorry, make sure to pull your shades and lock your doors. That shady moon can get very bright when its in your room.
And with him having a trailer up there now its sure to shine alot.

Most of the resorts on Cass are very friendly! Break On The Lake has hosted the last two MuskieFIRST / MuskyNUT outings and will again host it in the fall of 2004. The other resorts mentioned are wonderful as well except I'd have a hard time staying at Tom's due to the constant fish that are brought in and killed by the same guy that stays at Tom's.

No matter what resort you pick you'll have a great time on the lake!
