Location: Illinois | With these cold nights it would seem that the fish would be a little sluggish in the morning and pick up in the P.M. Has this been holding true or is there a morning bite to be had? Anyone catch a fish in the morning since this cold snap? hj |

Location: oswego, il | Depends on the lake. The more pressure a lake gets the better the morning bite and it seems to last through fall. Personally I have only boated 1 fish before 1030am since mid september but right now I am fishing unpressured water. |

Location: Illinois | Nice fish! I answered my own question as my patner caught a 36 this morning.Nothing big but very pretty markings Temp was 17 and a brisk wing. The first thing that happened was sucker water spilling on the floor of the boat making it an ice skating rink. It was still great to be out. Two othr takers and droppers. Raised nothing on lures. hj |
