Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Traffic is roughly equal to last year on the boards and up significantly on the rest of the site. It's always quiet here from the end of the North country seasons through the Holidays. Anyone thinking we have it all figured out is way overconfident.
We launched a ton of new features this year including an all new articles section that features muskie news, articles, and videos, podcasts (if you have one and would like us to publish it from your platform, let us know), new video platform, and much more, and that is where we have seen a lot of growth. You can access it all from www.muskiefirst.com or at our mother ship at www.outdoorsfirst.com . You can now click through from here or OutdoorsFIRST to Walleye, Bass, Muskie, Ice, or Whitetail to check out what's happening there. Some great Whitetail videos and articles in the news section, for example. A couple links: Muskie gear article River Bottom Bucks, Hunting in the Snow Plenty to read and watch, and the muskie conversation won't end anytime soon. |

Location: SE, WI. | Brian Hoffies - 12/28/2019 2:21 PM I enjoy the site but don't post about fishing. I might chime in about boats or destinations but almost never about fishing. I have been around the web & life long enough to know basic fishing hasn't changed in many, many years. Gear has as far as lures when Muskie fishing. I think most come to forums like this for 2 reasons........information and the banter, discussions. Face it whats better, checking in here or watching the Hallmark channel with your wife? I love 99% of the site upgrades..........if only they could upgrade the smilies. lol Brian, sounds like you have the same attitude I do towards the Hallmark...;) But; to compare it with Muskiefirst....OUCH;););) JD |
