saw in another post, a new formula for weight. not using the Length times girth times girth again divided by 800??

I think the L X G X G / 800 and the newest one developed by Larry Ramsell L x G diveded 25 minus 10 are pretty close.

On my two heaviest fish, the weights given by these two formulas are within a pound and a half. I think the LGG/800 is easier to remember and to do on paper or in your head. I go with the idea that Larry's is maybe the most accurate, with the number of big fish he has caught, seen and researched, this is the formula he thinks is the best.
