| Is it cool to run your depth finders off one the TM 12V batteries you have hooked up w/ another 12V battery to create a 24V current for the TM (trolling motor)?

If you are running your depth finder off the same battery that you are running your trolling motor you are going to get a TON of interference and it will not work properly. |

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Hate to ever question the Ralphie....but I did run both a depthfinder and a tm to one battery, but dont know if this applies to what you are thinking of. I didnt have any problems with interference, just my experience.

| yea, i understand about the interference...sometimes is Bad bad and horrible. other i have seen run w/o any interference.
But, i what i really meant to ask is, "will i fry a depth finder because it might get zapped w/ 24 volts or anthing weird like that?"
i assume it wouldnt', but just want to check. |

| As long as you only go across one battery, you won't fry anything. |
