Just checked, and it looks to be up to date.

Yeah I can't even log in to it. Haven't been able to add a fish all season.

Seems to be a 2-4 week delay. Last entries were mid September.

Must be some new protocol , screening process.

In the past seasons, entry was up instantly.

There are several October fish entered, display by year 2019. Kirby, what happens when you try to login, we'll get that fixed for you. The system is working fine, has to be a login issue.

I place them after they are submitted. Just published a bunch. I need to look at that more often, been on the road a bunch.

I actually just had one posted a week or so ago, but I had to create a separate login. It would not take this account info. First I submitted, so I thought it was normal. Hope that helps.

Yes random drawing and only one entry per person. Which is not to say if you have more than one big fish you shouldn’t post them all But u gotta be in it to win it

There is a lack of pattern or predictability in the drawing does that make it random?

I'll take a look, but think they all have been approved. If they're not in the database, nothing I can do.

Edit: I found a couple that were approved but missing some information and three new fish. There are none in the database now that are not approved. Nothing wrong with the system, by the way, and yes, winners are selected by random number generator.

So if I entered a handful of fish and by some miracle I win, do I just pic which fish I wanted a replica of? And really, more interest in getting a replica for my wife’s fish. If I enter her fish, would that still count even though I didn’t catch it?

Wait, what? Don't all the required fields have to be entered in order to submit? What kind of information might be missing? (Don't want to miss something when submitting.)

It seems that the big change from the previous version to the current one is that in the past submissions were entered automatically and immediately appeared on the front page and in the big fish gallery whereas now it seems entries require admin approval before they post. Were there problems previously that required the switch to vetting every entry?
The cost of this is there's no immediate feedback that the entry submitted successfully and also folks like to see their entries in the gallery but don't know when they get posted. Maybe an automated email could go out confirming successful submission and then again when eventually approved?

Look at the numbers in previous years as compared to the last 2 years. There is definitely something wrong somewhere.

As I said, there's nothing wrong with the system, I just need to watch it more closely. The total OFM redesign launched earlier this year reflects new features and security measures and a LOT more, note the news section articles and shared video, you tube link, etc. The only thing antiquated is this message board, which we didn't adapt to a new one because it would have been so different (and therefore a sore point with those used to this one) and all old logins would be lost. Note the spammers here. There it is!

So if you have a fish from this year 45 or over, get that puppy in there for a chance to win a Rick Lax replica!

The fish and angler are chosen so that sticks. You must catch and release the fish yourself for you to enter, but you can list your wife's fish under your account, just use the text option to do that when posting. Someone wins it every year, so it's not really a miracle; could happen.

It's possible some folks are having login issues without telling us, no one has except Kirby.
