Subject: Circle hooks, the rubber band


Jason, I read your article today in musky hunter and it was a great article. I do have one question. Since the musky swallows the sucker is the rubber band still in the fishes stomach? Does the rubber band adversely affect the fish? If it does or does not how do we know?
I hope that is does no harm.

Its like Tums for the muskies tummy. LOL

I'll I know is the muskies I have release have been in great shape and very healthy when release in this method.

If muskies could not handle a little rubber or plastic in there diet, they would not let us use, Squirrly burts and Bull Dogs. LOL

Note: The sucker in the article is NOT my photo or the true Mustad circle hook that I use. I fact is not even rigged that way I would rig a sucker with a circle hook. The photo of the sucker is Steve Heitings, just added to dress up the article. [;)]
