Any insite on this set up? Every review seems to indicate that this is a solid set up. Boat is a 17.2 Angler. I was considering a Lund Impact 1775 but this seems like a better value both $$$$ and performance stats

I certainly wouldn't be afraid of one. Try and get a ride and see what you think. I'm sure all those Lund & Alumacraft guys trying to steer you that way haven't offered to help pay for one.
Your choice. If it will work for the way you like to fish I say go for it. The Yamaha motor is a pretty reliable motor and will match up good with that boat. G3 is owned by Yamaha and they have a reputation of producing quality products. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

A couple of thoughts:
Not sure if you're looking for a windshield or side console model, but the front deck of this boat with a console is quite small. There's no where to stand for a guy in the middle. The back area looks fairly small as well. Perhaps a non issue, but for a side console model I think other boats have better decks/layouts.
Secondly, a 150 with a kicker seems like a lot of weight on the back for a 17' 2" boat. I know it has a 96" beam, but that rig seems a little small to have two motors.
