We are traveling to the sioux lookout area to fish Lac Seul at the end of September. We need to be at the launch with boat packed and ready to go in the morning. Does anyone know of motel near there where the boat parking is relatively secure ? I know there are no "safe" areas anywhere , but looking for someone that has been there before and may be able to share your experiences. Thank You

I just returned from a 5 day musky fishing trip with a guide on Seul, staying a total of 7 nights in Sioux Lookout. There is a BW there but I have no idea as to how "safe" it is our availability. SL is much closer to the Deception launch which is where I assume you are planning on launching from if planning on Musky fishing.

I stayed at Winoga Lodge, it's private and very safe. depending on what your standards are for a place to stay they may be able to accommodate you.
