OK the Kevin Worrall annual muskie tournament is this Saturday. I have been fishing it since it started. The big prize is a 2019 Lund boat. It will take a 51" or bigger to win it. My question: How many 51" or bigger muskies to you think are in Pelican Lake right now?

There was one 40 years ago, had one on while I was a kid fishing with my dad. Got it to the boat it took off and broke the reel, I was fishing for northerns so I did not have the right gear to catch something that big. I did get a good look at it and to this day I think it was bigger than the 51" I caught a couple of years ago.

Pelican Lake in Ottertail county Mn? State record catch and release is 56 7/8" out of there. Two separate occasions this summer, two anglers kept a 56" and a 54". Over 51, I'd say at least 8, voted greater than 10.
