I have two St Croix rods that need new guides. I spoke to their service department and they recommended finding a local place to take care of it to save on the shipping hassle. Anyone know a place in Chicagoland (preferably south side) that can knock it out for me? Thanks!

Depending on possible fall travel to the North woods, Hayward lakes, Minnesota, Canada, etc, you might want to stop off at the factory to drop them off. The factory and store is a must for any bucket list. Then pick up the repaired rods on the way back and leave what you slammed in the truck door on your trip. It happens! Highway 70 is a pretty easy way to cross Wisconsin, not much out of the way if you have not made your pilgrimage to Park Falls.
