It was a tough descision but due to time constraints I will have to put the boat away for the winter this weekend. The first season with the new boat was great lots of new toys to play with here is a list of my likes and dislikes

Dealer: Bedford Sales

Likes, Very freindly, knowledgeable and customer focused.

Dislikes: Too far from my home

Boat: Lund / 2001 - MrPike 16

Likes, Wide Beam, roomy, very stable, dry ride

Dislikes, Livewells and Rod Storage not long enough

Motor: Merc 90HP 4-stroke

Likes: Very quiet, No smoke, Fuel Economy, Starts easily

Dislikes: Heavy, Hole shot could be better

Trolling Motor / Depthfinders: Pinpoint 3600 & 7520

Likes: The system works great together, the motor is quiet and responsive with more than enough power to pull the boat in wind and waves, the depth track performs as advertised, the depthfinders are have great resolution and interface with the motor as advertised.

Dislikes: Learning curve, the system takes a little bit of getting used to but once done it's great

Overall I am very happy with the new rig, if you have any questions please e-mail me and I will answer what I can

See Ya at the Chicago Show

Ya sure John, I know your storing it just a few miles away. I’m betting next week when Indian summer hits you’ll be finding a way to get her out. BTW thanks for the brews. [:sun:]

Next season, you going to have to show me that hot Depthraider Salmon bite on the big pond. You got me thinking on that one.[;)]

NWR: I have some charity events that I have agreed to participate with, one of them was just yesterday Oct 28th it was a 5K Run/Walk for the Shannon McNamara (My Niece) memorial scholorship fund, the scholorship is for any student from Rolling Meadows High School who will be attending a State of Ill college and is studying to be a teacher.

But I may be available to go with you if you did not put yours away yet, By the way you forgot the net!

Jason: YOUR ON, I would love to hit the big pond next season and show you some Salmon / Depthraider action
