| These kind of attacks are on the rise all across the range. Why does trump do nothing? |

| I know a guide. (Okay, I know lots of them) We were out one day, and my wife decided to take her boots off and stick her feet in the water. He said "what are you DOING?! Don't do that!!" We thought he was just screwing around. "You've seen the size of the fish in this lake. I'd never stick a foot in this lake. I cringe every time I see people in the water. If muskies will eat one of these, (holds up double 10), what do you think your feet look like to them?"
"Food?"
"FOOD!"

Location: Ludington, MI | The only thing I'm not clear on is how this fish hit a kids foot that was in a waterski boot. Are they saying his foot was actually in the ski or are we thinking he was wearing aquasocks or something? |

My guess is he was in the water while putting the skis on.
That would be my guess as well. Said he was getting ready to try out new skis. 16 stitches indicates pretty serious cuts. Surprising thing to me is that he was in the water. I have heard of this where someone's foot is dangling in the water, or the guy on mirror lake who had his hand trailing over the side of a canoe and a mucky clamped down and he instinctively threw it in the canoe, attached to his hand but this young guy was fully in the water. My neighbor's daughter and son in law were training for a triathalon a few years ago and swimming along the shore near my dock. My son and I were coming back from musky fishing and waited for them to pass. They said "why don't you catch the one that has been following us for the last 100 yards or so" The guy, who fishes for muskies, treaded water and said it was probably an upper 30s fish but you get a whole different perspective when in the water and they are eying you up from less than 10' away. |
