| We came back on 71 last week. I wasn’t going to go through that again. It might be ok if you’re not towing. |

| Just did the drive to Eagle, not terrible but definitely not as smooth as I remember from 4/5 years ago. The construction zones slow down the drive a bit and there were also quite a few "bumps" you do not want to hit going at speed as we learned the hard way. Most of them were marked some were not. Bring a portable air compressor and patch kit as this saved our trip home as we had a slow leak/puncture of some kind on the drive back in a trailer tire. |

Location: North St. Paul, MN | 37 culverts patches, not finished on 502. They are a little bumpy, but not terrible. There were only two stops where they limited it to one lane. Only about five minute slow down all together. One of the stops and one lane was gravel. Just driving into Fort Frances, now.

| Last time it was terrible we leave next Friday, August 9. Had to slow down to about 25 miles an hour. I have rock deflectors and I am purchasing a rock guard for the front of the Ranger. Hass to be at least 50 rock chips going that slow even. Definitely taken 71 back up

| We go to temple bay on Eagle so I think it’s a half hour and it’s nice to take a different route. Little change of scenery and smooth roads |

| We drove it Thursday. The 8th. Southern 15km had bumps but they were not too bad. Mid way to Dryden there is 1 good bump to watch for. All in all it is not too bad. Allow an extra 30 to 45 minutes and you'll be fine. Safe travels |

| It is ROUGH!!! Came home today, and the culverts they took out are rough to actual drop off. Broke a shackle on trailer and the boat in front of me broke a spring and the boat straps in back . Lots off people pulled over to check vehicles and trailers |

Sounds like taking the longer route might be a solid idea? |

This^ Was on it Saturday. Bumps are all marked. Slow down and you won't break stuff. Not that bad. |

| I just drove back on 502 yesterday. The area got rain Saturday afternoon and night. There are about 15-20 spots that they are putting in culverts. These are all in the southern most section. Some are very rough. Definitely slow down. There is one more at about 30 miles and that is very rough. I'm not sure how we didn't blow a tire. |

Location: Illinois | 502 is almost completely done. Maybe 1 spot where the grade was a couple inches different. Just got back from Eagle today.

| The first section isn't done yet. It's 28 kilometers and they were grading it this morning. There was also a small patch not done where a culvert was replaced. It's got a sign. The drop from pavement to base would be good to slow down on. Overall not bad, but the boat was a mess with the rain they've had. This site has updates. https://511on.ca/list/constructionprojects?start=0&length=25&order%5... |

| It should be close to done. it was all complete except for the very first stretch when we came back on Monday. There is one covered but has not been filled in partway up that you will need to slow down for other than that nice new blacktop |
