Location: Metro | Hey just wondering if people are moving fish on Tonka. Has been a pretty rough start to the year for me out there. Still haven't had many chances to fish through the night (I know this is the best time for this lake) but plan on doing so soon. Contemplating hitting some other lakes nearby as I have put a good amount of hours in this year on my go to spots but haven't seemed to pull many fish.
Not looking for spots just looking to see if people in fact are moving fish more than I am.
Thanks guys! |

Location: SW Ohio | They have a big e-coli outbreak up there right now. Take precautions when fishing it.

Location: deephaven mn | was out Thursday evening one late follow from a 30inch fish
water temps were 79 degrees and with the warm weather forecast for this week no doubt it will be over 80 by next weekend
oh and E-coli has not been named as the sickness on Minnnetonka other lake beaches are closed because of E-coli
but the ones on Miinetonka have not report smptoms severe enough to be E-coli

| Does anyone know if the PMTT has a back-up plan for the August 9th-10th event on Tonka? I am hoping they don't plan on holding an event with water temps in the mid-80s. |

Location: MN | Haven't fished it in a few weeks, but was seeing some back in June and put a couple in the net. June can be pretty tough - first couple weeks of the season I heard of very few bites. A couple weeks in people started catching, at least for a week of so. Haven't heard much since July 1 |

| Mid-afternoon yesterday was 76-78. Based on the forecast outlook it should stay around there or go down a bit with the cooler temps at night. |

Location: West Metro, MN | Water was 77-78 yesterday evening after the storms. These cooler nights are keeping the water in check despite pretty nice days. Will be interesting to see how it goes this weekend. The bite has been pretty tough IMO. I'm not fishing the tournament but see that take off is at Maynard's which isn't really very close to any of the main launches. Maxwell Bay, Grey's Bay, and the Minnetonka Regional Park (fee) should all have parking at that time of the morning.
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there are A LOT of floating weeds out there right now. |

| Cooler nights? I guess the thermometer on my truck must be broken. I wouldn't consider 66-70 degrees depending on the morning cooler nights. The water is going to be at or very near 80 degrees during this tournament and all the pre-fishing that I assume is happening right now. The utter lack of respect shown the fishery during these high water temps is ridiculous. There will be fish caught and unintentionally killed during this tournament. |

| Surface temp of ~70, Sunday AM. I suspect the water column is likely a somewhat lower than that given how unseasonably warm last week was for mid-September. |

| Temps getting back into the 60s by end of week which should stall the falling water temps or make them rise,,which usually means slow action till they drop again |
