| I'm making my first trip to Eagle with my Son next week. I picked this week because there will be a full moon. We've always fished Red Lake for monster Pike but since I caught the disease, I've got to go bigger. Some folks told me to try Cedar lake because it's smaller and easier to learn.
That's sound advice. But I fish for muskies - when was the last time I did anything that made sense? So, I'll follow the moon and act irrationally.
I'm off to see Scott and Kelly at North Shore Lodge, hoping to get my Son his first and a new PB for me.
I'd ask for well wishes, or luck, but let's face it, the only thing that works is time on the water.

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Scotty will get you on some fishes, for sure! Just make sure to get a day on the lake with him or one of his guides and mark the poopy out of the map! Don't over think, just cast alot to good looking spots. It'll happen eventually.  | |
