For those who own them, do you have any issue with the middle section spinning at all? Anything that can be done to make it stop besides adding weight to the bottom?

I just purchased one a while back and the middle section turns with the rear...

Thanks

Both of mine made massive line twist, ended up taking them apart, and rebuilding them, with the tail section on a separate piece,(like a jtd crankbait) and the middle section glued in place,

My experience ... very inconsistent. Some that I have bought have worked great and others had problems rotating.

When they first came out, the hook on the back was the right size, for great hook ups, now the back hook is too small!

Probably rewire as stated. If you can Braze a solid bead in front of the body, should cure the problem .

Other wise rewire, put a slight kink in wire in front of body, then solid bead, so contact can’t happen from front rotator.

And yes, wrap a bit of lead wire on front hook to try to keep body from rotating. Many lures built this way in the past had the same issues....it’s really curable !
