| Hello all,
I will be heading to the Kenora area to fish LOTW for the first time I don't want spots, I'd rather find those on my own. My main question is, what's an effective way to find a pattern when there is so much available water? There will be three of us fishing and we will have about four solid days on the water. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to provide me some insight! | |

| break it down to smaller sections first, then if you find fish say on main lake points, or reefs or whatever, find more of those areas on a map and expand | |

| There is a seasonal progression to fish location. In the spring they start out in spawning bays. Usually by early July, the fish move out to "main lake" structure: rock piles, island points, garages, etc...
Get a Canadian Hydrographic map, not the Fishing Hot Spots one. PM Sent with additional info.
