Tough go this week and have two days left. Any advice with these conditions:

Water temp 70
Casted weedy bays with no luck
Sand beaches with no luck
Very few follows and on top water
Jamison bottle is empty

Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

Avoid LOTW until mid July. Seriously, it's wicked early to expect fish to be set up and have any consistency this early. Sure you can catch fish but they're still in roaming mode imo.

Didn't see rock on the list. Start fishing wind blown stuff, points, open water reefs.....if they aren't in the weeds, they aren't in the weeds.

Fish all that and nothing, then get drunk.

We're up north by the Tug and Sabaskoshing bay. We've been struggling as well. The few active fish we have seen and caught have been on rock or rock/weed combo. We have a pair of 44's and a half dozen in the 30s for the week. Water temps are on schedule but fish and weed growth are at least a week behind.

Get a bondy wobbler and try jigging deeper water especially if you can find some eyes stacked up. Also grab a bass setup throw on a X rap or 1/2 oz. spinner bait just start throwing like you are smallie fishing i witnessed unbelievable things happen. Wish i was there.

Got back from a great week Thursday. Moved over 40 fish in the Sabaskong area. Largest that hit the net was a personal best of 50.5". Of the fish seen, 5 were legit 50"+. I also put a 40" in the net as well as a 40" TIGER. Had hooks into another 4. Our best producers were Mepps Tandem Musky Killers, Mepps Musky Marabous (single blade) and Mepps Musky Flashabou (twin blade). It was a great week. Next year is already booked and going solo. Feels great to be back in the "musky saddle" after a 11 year hiatus. My first trip casting for musky in 11 years.

It was a late spawn so I would try close to the spawning areas,... this has helped me in past years with conditions as they were this spring with cooler than normal water temperatures.

The Muskie are more than likely still in post-spawn recovery and is more than likely contributing to the lack of action.

I was up there 7/2-7/5. It was slow for me too, but we found some fish on rock points. Caught 3, saw 11, and lost 1 big one. The 3 caught were small, 38, 39, and 40. All on double 8s.
