| Hi, we are new to the Georgian Bay Muskie game and I need some help..
Water temps are low 50's now 50-52 oct 21, turnover has happened and where do we start? Marking tons of small baitfish on humps around 30-40 feet of water but no big hooks in sight. Water clarity is excellent, fish are huge as you guys know, low boat traffic, and I am lost, all the spots and structure look perfect but not all of them hold fish.
Where do we start?
1] locate baitfish first?
2] look for the big hooks? 100's of square miles of area
3] fish shallow on points and weedbeds?
4] Ciscoes spawn in low 40's for temps
5] look for suspended fish over open water?
6] classic Canadian Shield water as Lake Of The Woods is same structure etc.
Where do we start?? any advice is appreciated....... | |

Location: Rockford Il 61108 | Find your steep drop offs around islands or points. Go to your deep water techniques. Sinking Rapalas, 12' Bulldawg , or even a large jig. This is successful for me.
