I've been asked to revive the Piganator Challunge. I'm sure we all have a few Pigs again to donate to the cause!

In case you don't know what the piganator challenge is....

It has been a meeting/fishing contest usually held on a Twin Cities Metro Lake. It started off as a largest fish takes all and everyone through a lure in. Unfortunately most of the time the lures were Pigs and most people didn't want them. So...

The Piganator challuge starts with a block of Wood. 2 x 4... Anyone who would like to join is welcome but no MORE than 25 people can participate. We typically meet on a Sat or Sunday until ice up and everyone throws $5.00 into a kitty each week. Winner (Largest Fish) takes all. They then have to take the piece of wood and their name and a lure that they dislike. (Seems to be pigs again most of the time) Next week someone else does the same.

Let's start the 2003 Piganator Challunge on Sunday Oct. 26th from 8 am - 1 pm at Lake Minnetonka Gray's Bay landing. Cocktails, food and shooting the %^%$ afterwards at a local establishment.

Who's in?

Individual.... But you work things out with your boat partner.... So if I'm your net man you better give me 25% or I'm knocking it off.

I'm pretty sure eating donuts while sleeping is not possible. Must be some kind of magic trick!

Steve, I have a Pig I would donate. It is sort of a pinkish color, too.

Teck,
How many weeks do you have to stay in the US to retain your citizenship? Seems as if retirement is treating you grand!!

Dont throw away the pig jr's.......they make AWESOME flaptails!

I caught one fish on one this year, but moved at least 20 and some nice fish. When topwater fishing was tough....they were the ticket.

If you want to throw the pig jr's away, please send them to Chippewa falls.

Is this thing still on? I have room in the back of my boat. I'll be at the landing.

Shady,
I'll be there with bells on, looking for an open seat tho.
Tonka's too big for my little puddle jumper.

I'll get in touch with Iowa Jon and see if I can round up your boombox.

Later,
papa joe

Was out there Saturday morning. My buddy caught a 42 and I lost an upper 40 inch fish and had a big girl follow in. My buddy hadn't caught a Muskie all year and I told him right where to cast, he had one of my rods and lures, and on the first cast to the spot - Wham! Now his winter will be much more enjoyable.

The funnest part, though, was watching a big pleasure boat run up on a reef and bounce through some big rocks after pulling one of the classic "Buzz the fishing boat routines". Sure was lots of banging and scratching. Guess they didn't realize we were staying out of there for a reason. After spending a summer putting up with those knuckleheads, it was quite enjoyable to watch.

Hi Gang,
Anyone thinking of picking this up tomorrow or Sunday? (November 1-2?)

I think we only have 2 or maybe 3 weeks left...

Shady?

Will be fishing Sunday, launching out of Gray's bay.

Sorry, I don't own any pigs. Does this mean I can't enter?

Hi Gang,
Sounds like we try next weekend. I didn't realize the weather forcast was so bad/cold this weekend.

Also forgot that I need to be home for delivery of a comfy new bed.

Going to see the Packers crush an indoor team as well, on Sunday night.
