Steve, Rob, and I are hitting Crescent and Pelican Friday night and Saturday morning. Steve is a blast to fish with and I hear Rob can be entertaining too. They are hitting a couple little lakes tomorrow early with Keith while I get my work-a-day in. The weather looks pretty good, so maybe we can lead a few muskies into the Frabill.

Where are you headed this weekend searching for a Muskie for the net?

Back up to Presque Isle for 3 more days. Gonna give Howie's rig a try. May even buy him a beer Saturday nite.

Heading to the Bowl-de-toilette with Slamer and the boys for some good natured sucker draggen. Hopefully I can put Jr. Tuffy on his first Chain fish.

I'm heading to Silver Lake in Kenosha County for the first time. I've heard there are some nice fish in there but have never fished it. As a matter of fact, this is the first time I've fished for musky in a local lake. Should be a beautiful day to be on the water if nothing else.

MONDAY, GOT EVERYTHING LINED UP FOR MY ANNUAL TURKEY TRIP AT A FRIEND,S CABIN IN SOUTHERN IOWA. GOING WITH 2 GOOD FRIENDS, AND WAS ALL PUMPED UP. TUESDAY, THE CALLS START COMING IN FROM BASS TOURNAMENT FISHING BUDDIES, WHO WERE AT A TOURNAMENT IN MISSOURI. THEY WERE PREFISHING FRIDAY, AND THE MUSKYS WERE HITTING EVERYTHING THEY THRU; MOSTLY SPINNERBAITS, AND CRANKS. FINALLY, SAID THE HELL WITH IT, AND STARTED TARGETING MUSKYS ON FRIDAY. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SERIOUS BASS FISHERMAN BEFORE A TOURNAMENT DOING THAT. BITE CONTINUED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WHEN EVERYONE WAS BASS FISHING. I DIDN,T GET A TOTAL OF HOW MANY WERE CAUGHT, BECAUSE FRANKLY, I DIDN,T WANT TO KNOW.I DID HERE THE BIGGEST WAS AT 50". SO, TURKEY HUNTING I GO , BECAUSE GOOD FRIENDS ARE WORTH MORE THAN MUSKY FISHING, BUT WOULD RATHER BE IN MISSOURI. IT SUCKS HAVING TO WORK, OR I COULD DO BOTH.
