| Need some advice about Cass Lake Resorts. I stayed at Birch Villa last year but they are full for the time I want to go in 2004. Any recommendations on other resorts? Break on the Lake looks like a nice place but the website doesn't show much about their dock systems or swimming beach for the kiddies. Anything about this place or others would be appreciated. Thanks |

Location: Bagley,MN 56621 | very extensive dock systems at Break on the lake...plenty of room. They are padded well and most cleats have a rope already attached. |

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | I have stayed at both and Break on the Lake is a no brainer. The docks are very nice and power is to the slips.
Fish cleaning houses, great lodge with games, lots of room for kids to play. The houses or cabins are top notch. Very new and they have everything. Nice to have a dishwasher, microwave, fireplace, you get the point.
The owners are top notch also, very accomidating.
This is the place you are looking for. |

Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | Break on the Lake: The houses have 4 bedrooms (2 upper,2 lower) with full and 2 twins on each level. Very nice! Gas fireplace and a kitchen that the wife will love, bring some cooking gear because it's limited. The houses are new you'll be satisfied. Both sets of docks (east & west) have power and storage lockers that are included. Beach conditions for the kids I'm not sure of, it was in the 40's when we were there. Ask Steve Cady for more information, rumor is that he is putting a trailer next to Racka's place. There are some nice beach area's along the islands were you could anchor and swim. |

Location: Mokena, IL | I have stayed at Wishbone resort for 8 years and they do a nice job. Good dock boys every year and secured docks for the boats. |

| Nope Racka's all real. Rebuilt is like taking a Dodge truck and putting toyota stickers on it. |

BOTL is the place to stay. Had a great time. Julie and Steve are great.Julie is one wild female. Had a great time with Julie, Steve C., Midge, and our designated driver Ed.
As far as safe beaches, the drop off is about 100 yards off shore. Pleanty of room for the kids to swim in 3 to 4 feet of water (I'm assuming the water level will be back to normal, it's 1 to 2 feet now).
