Location: FIB land		Used boat I bought has lcx 37 at helm and hook 9 at front on trolling motor, can they be wired together to share one gps/Lake contour chip or do I need two chips? Perhaps I need to replace the old 37 ?

85% sure the LCX cannot share map chips… but it's been a while.  I think you already know that putting the $ toward a newer unit makes more sense, maybe target a used unit on Ebay with LSS2 transducer.

Location: Mt. Zion, IL		To share maps over Ethernet, units have to be hds gen 2 or newer. Touch or non touch units will share maps.
