Lol....love it. In all seriousness, bucktails generally shine in warmer water, above 65 degrees, but can be used year round with success.

I got a 40 inch class fish

) in 40* water with a Cowgirl a few years back, slow rollin. m

I don't use a lot of bucktails but I've caught fish on spinnerbaits slow rolled near bottom after breaking ice to get out
