I bought an AGM battery this year. Do I now need a new battery charger? I had some AGM’s I bought about 10 years ago and used the on board charger in a 2000 year Lund. And a 20 year old deep cycle charger on them Will a 20 year old charger adversely effect the new AGM?

You will have to look up each carger, and if I doesn't say agm compatable you will have to look up the specs and see if it meets the requirements of your agm battery, should say something like 10-15 amps per bank, that's the easy part, finding out how many lots it will push to charge is more difficult

The Minn Kota Precision chargers have selectable charge modes per bank, so even if you run AGM for just your cranking battery and flood lead acid for your trolling motor batteries, it will allow you to fine tune the charging style for each battery for longer life.
