I need a new starting battery. My last battery was a interstate and had good look with it. I was a Walmart the other day and seen their everstart battery had 45 more cold cranking amps then the interstate has. the insterstate has 800 and the everstart was 845 cold cranking amps. Just wondering if the 45 more is a big deal and if the walmart battery are any good. any info would be great. any info on any other batteries would be great to. thanks.

45 no big deal. Now if you look at a batteries plus "agm 31 x2" you will be blown away. Well worth the money. Another thing quite possibly more important than cranking amps is reserve capacity. If you run a sonar or three a radio livewells linghts and anything else you need more reserve capacity than cranking amps as those amps are on a topped off battery not after 5 hours of casting.
