| I told my wife that a storm was coming in. She said, well, we could sit here and watch the food network, or we could go to the river and musky fish.
I've had enough of Pioneer Woman, so, we went to the river.
We had the longest fight that we've ever had with a musky. I think my wife touched the fish with the net 4 times. I was finally able to get the fish headed toward the boat and one armed the landing net.
Fat 49 inch river musky:

On the Storm Big Mac !
"Storm Big Mac." That's funny you say that! That is one of the three lures that I was throwing! A Strawberry Big Mac is what I call it. It's red and black. My Wife caught her first musky in that same spot several years ago throwing a strawberry Big Mac Lure.

| Congrats on both catches. What type of lure did you use to catch the wife? Was it a sense of humor, nice guy, fancy car, etc...?

I have no idea. We met 37 years ago when I loaned her a quarter to buy a coke. Been married 33 years. Best quarter I ever spent! |

| I figured it out. You don't know how you caught her, because SHE caught you.
Here's how it happened. She waited by the vending machine for you to "swim" by. Then, (the cast) "hi, can I borrow a quarter to buy a coke". Then, (the retrieve) "thank you, that was so nice and generous". Then, (the figure eight) "this coke is so delicious and satisfying, what is your name? Before you knew it, you were hooked. The best part is that this makes you the trophy husband, ha ha. She can buy you a t-shirt with "trophy husband" on it for your anniversary.
