Location: ITALY | guys I have a curiosity .... I read that many of you love the shallow invader because instead the deep invader seems to have disappeared? also brad ruh has forgotten it .... I adore the shallow magnum and we have taken so many pike and huge zander. Unfortunately the deep version is very small and therefore not having any other choice with my friend we have built the 14" deep version. What do you think of the deep invader musky innovations? |

| Deep invader is not comparable to shallow raider. One catches fish one sits on the shelf.

Location: ITALY | For me the shallow invader magnum is fatal to trolling in May and June on huge walleye in open water and big pike, but in the rest of the season the deep invader makes the difference, especially when there is the thermocline ... |

He never even mentioned shallow raider.
I used to use the Deep Invader 15-18 years ago had decent success with them. But like other baits they are hanging in garage. May have to try them again this year.
Not many places here even sell them any more. I think Rollie's and Thorne Bros are only ones.

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Hi Ciccospin, Listen to this MF interview. Its about Muskies, our Pike don't exactly behave like yours do in late season. But, its food for thought. Once they reach a certain size I think they behave very similar with respect to deep water late season.

Location: oswego, il | It's a good bait that for some reason sits on the shelf. Like Jeff Hansen said, it's a bait I used to catch fish on. It will work great anywhere you need a deeper bait, just have to trust in it. |
