I need to replace my bag on my frabill. I had the hoop that's 41x32 with the thin weighted trangle free bag with the 2" mesh. I've replaced it with same bag before but this 1 broke at knots easily and went to junk quick compared to last bag. I don't really like the weight and the stiffness of the frabill 4666 bag. I'm looking at the predator or the ranger. Need hands on reviews. How are they both with tangling, which is my biggest concern

I have never used Ranger they look ok for the money...I would buy a Drifter and replace the bag unless you really want a sick Net The RS net Is top notch but expensive and huge. You can get very light replacement bag for under $40 on amazon that is completely rubber Flat bottom fish friendly and it really reduces overall weight of your net on these big nets....I use power catch right now with this bag. Had drifter XL but its at the bottom of the Lake!!!

10 4 was looking at those on ebay. Less then $30. I have no problem spending money as long as it's a good product. So those little mesh nets don't tangle that bad

We put quite a few fish in it last year and no problems and it kept the final intact. The frabil would cut fins

I used the Drifter Predator in the  XLsize as a replacement for my Frabill #8450 .  Works and fits great.

The 8450 is the kahuna. I have 1 of those too. Bought the hoop and handle for $25 this summer but never put a bag on that 1. Was going to get the predator XXL for that 1.

Nothing against the promar but had a small mesh on my Stowmaster and cut hooks several times to get the lure and fish out of net after fish rolled up in it. Frabil 4666 much better in my opinion

I bought a promar for my small net but will be purchasing a predator XXL for kahuna frame. Payed less then 30. If it suck o well I've wasted more then 30 on this sport before. I usually cut 90% of the hook on fish anyways. I dont like tearing up fish faces. Hooks are cheap.
Thanks for all input
