| When I lived in Fond du Lac, we had a guy lived in our neighborhood who had been brought in from Germany by Mercury. He had previously been an engineer for Porche and drove a very high end model. He was brought in to help them fine tune the super charger on the Verado prior to it going into production.
I got to know a few of Mercury's engineers from living, working in the community and the Verado when it was introduced was the engine that all of them just raved about. My next door neighbor at the time managed two of the plants at their facility and was a great guy, good neighbor. Ordinarily he did not say too much about Merc motors, other than that he was proud of the product. But when he told me about the Verado, he was just shaking his head in amazement. His normal, reserved, cautious manner went right out the window! |

Location: E. Tenn | Saw this in the parking lot of the hotel I was staying in at Buffalo NY, August of '17... It was one of three installed on the speedboat.
I would have loved to had the money spent on gas that weekend..
