Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I cleaned the garage making room for the deer to hang, put sackcrete around the new sumps in the basement, cleaned the 1690 up getting it ready for a crappie trip with Sue Tuesday, and hunted a couple hours with my stick flinger. No fishing, but this week looks good! Anyone stick a fish or two? |

Location: Kawartha Lakes, Ontario | I fished GBay this weekend. I battled gale force winds, rain, cold, hail, and everything else mother nature could throw at me. 16 hours of fishing, sub-freezing wind chills, two numb hands, and 16 lures didn't produce any fish, although I did mark 3 GIANTS......I will have to try again. GBay is definately a complicated puzzle to solve, but the rewards are well worth the effort. |

Location: So. Illinois | Got a kitchen pass and went out alone. After 5+ hours of tossing everything in my bait box, I decided to do a little trolling to let the arms rest and stuck a nice 36" within minutes. Lost another one at the boat an hour later trying to figure out how to get to the net (sucks bein by yourself). Photo was taken with a timer since I had no one to assist.

Location: Ogden, Ut | Got a goofy looking 44" tiger - upper jaw was about an inch short. Was kinda skinny, presumably as a result of lowered feeding efficiency due to malformed mouth. Boat partner stuck a nice 39 incher.

| I fished Green Bay with JoMusky and KLY Saturday. Jo lost a nice fat mid 40 at the net, I got a 38.5, Jo got a 27", and KLY caught a ..............
Ice Cream pail! "Oh, yea. This is a big fish. I can feel the head shakes! It's staying down!" LOL Jo, put the clicker on next time, so we can hear that pail take out 280' of line! hehehe Kly also caught a small pike, and we missed one more fish.
Fished Okauchee with KLY Sunday morn. No fish, but it was a beautiful morning to be on the water. |

Location: Bagley,MN 56621 | 2 fish in my boat, a 36" for me on saturday and a low 30's for a bud on sunday. Moved a bunch of fish on sunday...I had 6 up and bud had 3 others up with the one he caught. water temps went 3 degrees by sun nite...only going to keep going up from the forecast.
at one time we both had a fish up at the same time...as he was looking at my follow, he looked back at his bait and yelled'holy crap I got one too"...neither one converted but was prety exciting 30 min into the trip.
cant believe how clear the lake has gotten...could see down to the bottom in 9'when it was dead flat calm and sunny yesterday.
saw some things I never knew were there.......3 new sweet spots hehe

Location: Alexandria, MN | Fished a lake in northern MN, boated a 38 & 41 trolling Jakes, then on Sunday I caught a 51 x 27 = 46# PIG on a JACKPOT! What a great weekend. Others in my group caught a total of 9 more fish ranging from 32" to 52". A couple of guys got goose egged, but we all had fun.
I had the 51"er follow a Slammer Minnow, 8" Shaker, 3 oz. Black Funky Chinken and then finally got her to eat the Jackpot!
Going back again on Wednesday for another weekend!
** Water Temps were in the high 40's. Most areas were 48-49 degrees **

| Hey, F-N-F
Holy Molly, Rocky!! What was the water temp when you got that pig on the Jackpot? Can you post a pic?
There's been a pretty good surface bite going on in the TC metro. Water temps are 54/55ish.

Location: Watertown MN | Topwater bight is still going, there were 3 fish registered friday in the Hayward Muskie Inc tournery caught on Jackpots, another on a hawgwobbler, water temps were in the 49-53. Fish for about 4 hours on saturday, due to tourney on lake, closing camper, and sunday was way to tired. Caught a 39 on LCO, did not see another fish, most guys in the tourney were not seeing anything on LCO. One 34" was caught on LCO friday.
good luck

Location: Willoughby, Ohio | Our Chautauqua tournament had 21 anglers catching 40 fish. The largest was a fat 46 1/4". I got a 37" on Sat & a 43" on Sunday. The weather was miserable on Saturday. Nonstop rain, sleet & snow with 20 mph winds & temps in the low 40s. Sunday was mostly cloudy & windy with temps in the mid 40s. If my boat had a Bimini top, it might have been a little better. At least I didn't get skunked! |

Location: Racine, Wi | Fish were going on Pewaukee this weekend. I saw a fish in just about every boat out there. We definitely need to educate on releases, as there were some fish that were being held out of water for a long time. Besides my mishaps, I did manage 1 chunky 37 on a twitched grandma, and 3 hits (none landed) on the suckers. |

| I guieded a trip on Saturday, and had some friends out Sunday on Lake of the Woods. We nailed 19 pike with most over 30"s plus one FAT 40" fish that came in at 22 pounds. Saw one hudge muskie but after having her in twice and working the figure eight, she Disappeared. Sunday was tough with mile hight skys and a east light wind. We still managed to get 13 pike with the largest being 37" and one double header with a 33" pike and a 39" muskie. All in all, a GREAT weekend

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Up in Longville area over the weekend...did a little bird hunting and a bit of casting.
Managed my first fish in over a month (I've been battling a bad streak of 8 fish missed/lost including one more this past weekend) caught with a bucktail on an 8 by the boat. Funny thing is that this is my first fish on hair this year. Usually, the majority of fish are on hair...until fall.
Fish are moving a bit...managed to see about 5 other fish. Water temps were still above 50 in the lakes I was on. Range was anywhere from 51 to 54 depending on the section of the lake and time of day. Boy...I wish I was up there all this week. Things would really be moving with the nice temps.
I'm getting a bit fed up with Depthraiders, though. I have now missed/lost 4 fish on the 8 inch straight models. I tried changing hooks before this weekend, but now the darn things want to foul all the time with the leader. Seems I cannot get them to throw straight (like they want to catch the air and flip all over). The 8th miss came on a fouled DR when the fish hit while I was reefing on the bait to get it in and send it out again. I figured with the fouled lure, the fish would be lost, but frustrating nontheless. I tried throwing harder, throwing softer and all over in between, but still had trouble. Just not sure what gives with that, so any thoughts would be appreciated.
Been a tough year so far, so hopefully I can end the season on a good solid note with a couple of bruisers. Only 2 weekends left for me..then Rifle season opens.

Location: Pulaski, WI | No luck at Little Green on Sunday. Nobody I talked to had caught anything except a few crappies. The owner of the landing loaned me a prop for my Motorguide, which was great. A lot of service for a $2 launch fee.
