| Matt, we were there on Sun oct 13 and had no success at all two follows from 36" fish along Beausolil Island from Honey Harbour. One huge Smallie on a bucktail 5-6 lbs. Water temps were 54-57 but it was very warm last week. Marked lots of baitfish over humps. Casted our asses off [should of trolled more I guess. When do the Ciscoes spawn in Georgian Bay? |

Location: MIlton Ontario Canada | Hey
I got 2 fish last weekend, 41 by 17 and 42 by 17 both came trolling Renny Baits down about 12 13 feet over deeper water. Lost a nice fish on a Bull Dogg casting to on sunday. All and all a pretty good weekend. Not really what I was after but its only a matter of time before a pig bites. Not absolutely sure about the Ciscos spawning time in G Bay, but I would say its going to be best right before ice up if there is one. One the water gets close to the low 40's they will be spawning forsure. They spawn at night on Big Reefs and sand flats in a bout 4 to 8 feet of water and during the day you will find huge schools suspended off the deep edges of these reefs. The Muskies will be around somewhere feeding like crazy I hope! Can't wait for that! The two fish I got this weekend came on a Cisco Coloured lure.

| Matt. were you in Severn Sound when you boated the two?
The problem we are having is where do you start in Georgian Bay ? everything looks good but not all these spots hold fish?
We have been launching out of Honey Harbour at the marina by the Delawana
but where do you start?? |

Lately I have been launching out of Midland Bay, both of the fish I got last weekend came about half way between Honey Harbor and Midland Bay. There are Muskies all over the place in Severn Sound but not a lot of them I don’t think, but they are BIG for the most part. If you’re going to fish G Bay then you’re definitely best off fishing that area. At least if your looking for big fish. We marked a lot of big fish last weekend all over the place. Weather they were Muskies or lake trout or salmon I am not sure but both of the fish we caught last weekend showed up as huge arcs on the electronics, but we marked a lot of other big fish that were either not Muskies or just not biters I am not sure. All I know is that if you concentrate your time on spots that have a lot of baitfish then you definitely better off. If I don’t mark bait fish on any given part that I am fishing then I don’t go back unless their is a wind change or something that I think will push bait up on to a spot. Bait is the number one factor especially when it comes to fishing such a huge body of water. Funny thing is that the fish I lost came out of such an unpredictable spot and it was big so who knows, I guess the can be anywhere....

| Thanks Matt for the info we will re-tool and re-locate, you saved us alot of wasted time.. We were going to do the severn sound as the next stop anyway but this re-confirms my ideas on the spot.. Look for us in a grey Alumacraft with a four stroke Honda or my Princecraft Pro series 171.
Thanks we owe you a beer.. |

| Speaking of maps. Gregger, you left your book in the truck. If I see Jason or Mark in the next week or so, I will send it along with them. Otherwise, I will mail it. |

Location: MIlton Ontario Canada | Yeah that could ahve been me Pricecraft, I was out there in a Blue and White Starcraft this weekend with a 90 Merc on the back. We got one nice fish around 43 44 inches on a Bull Dogg casting. Didn't really spend all that much time on the water last weekend. I am heading up there tommorrow and I am gonig to be fishing there until sunday can't wait. I am due for a pig and I think its getting to be that time of year. 58 inches would be nice............hahhaha
