I am planning on purchasing new electronics and I am thinking of Lowrance TI 9 or a Garmin 9 Echomap Plus 93SV . I would appreciate any input, it is quite confusing.

I would go lowrance. Creating waypoints on the garmin is awful. Lowrance will have the same as “panoptics” in March. They have the same technology per a court ruling in 2018. I also don’t like the garmin gimbal bracket with the backplate. Seems like a lot to go wrong to me.

Same tech, but it costs 50% more from Lowrance. That is, if lowrance ever actually brings the product to market.
