I'm dreading the upgrade. Us old farts have enough trouble with this technology stuff. I'm still trying to figure out how to work the remote and send pictures on my phone. Now this?!

I'm gonna check myself into an old folks home now...

Everything will be fine Jeff, you can still post, you will still have a lake lot, AML safe and sound and a boat safely stored for the long term in your garage.

You say this now, Todd. But two days from now I may not be able to figure out what button to push or how to log in, or what sort of code I need to put in to even OPEN the garage to get to the boat. Bad enough that the last time we were up North I got lost trying to find my property, but now the one thing that's remained simple and easy to use over the last 15 years is going to change? It's like waking up at 5:30 a.m. and not finding your johnson even though you really have to pee.

I fear not, I have two and know the whereabouts of both. One is on the back of my little princecraft and the other prominently displayed in my ex-wife's trophy case!:-)

Like the news section. Read the story about Mercury. As a former Fond du Lac resident, it has been very interesting to see all the investment they have made in plant and innovative equipment over the last ten years and the way employment has grown there. They just spend millions on a testing building that isolates all inside from outside vibration, etc. Just one of the investments they have made in recent years. That is what so many companies don't do, invest for the future when times are good.

Expect upgrades, but the functionality will remain as is, no one will have to change a thing.

There are a few months worth of big fish that did not get imported, will get to that by mid-week.

Forums will stay the same for now, upside being familiarity, the down-side is that the same issue remains ... when visiting the boards you will see an old, non mobile friendly design. Also there is still one login account for the forums, one login for everything else.

For example, to register a big muskie in the gallery at
https://www.outdoorsfirst.com/muskie/submit-a-fish/ you will need to create an account on outdoorsfirst.

Its really simple. We shortened the process for you by copying all the usernames/email addresses to the new site, so if you have a forum account and you still have access to that email address you will only need to request a password.

Your Outdoorsfirst account will allow you to manage your info and look at a list of all of your big fish entries and classified ads in one spot.

Phase two of this redesign WILL port the message boards to a new system which will allow Single Sign On to everything across all sites. Functionality of the boards will not suffer.
