Planning a week trip in September or October next year. Not looking for anyone's spots but could anyone point me in a couple or starting directions or places to look?

The StLawrence can be very cruel at times , if you are looking to catch a few fish head to the Cornwall area ,if you are looking to catch a fish of a lifetime try the area from Brockville to Gananoque , it's always tough fishing but if you catch one it could be a monster , If you are looking to catch numbers of fish go to Lake st Clair and hook up with one of the many guides

If fish st Clair regularly and do pretty good I think. Looking for just one monster reason for going there.

I have all of 1 day of experience on the Larry. Caught a 54.25" fishing out of Clayton, NY with Paul Corbett of Irish Hammer Sportfishing. With so many miles of water you might be best off fishing with somebody who knows the water. JMHO

Picking September in my opinion gives you a better shot, longer days, and better weather
