Location: MN | Anyone have results (good or bad) on the full size cannonball?
A lot of fish are reported on the CBJ and FB, but I don't hear much about the big brother. Looking at the Lake X Facebook page, for example, I see one tiger caught on a CB posted this year, and all others on the smaller models.
I've used the FB, CBJ, and CB. Caught and had bites on the FB and CBJ. Using the CB I have had a couple follows from good fish, but no bites.
Is it too big? CBJ the sweet spot? What do you think? | |

| My issue whit it is storage, before fishing/after fishing while in the boat. That limited how much I brought mine out. | |

Location: MN | It's definitely big - that seems to be one reason why some stay away. I use 3730s and some have a divider cut out - no problem fitting it in there, but still, it takes up a good amount of space.
The situations where I had follows were (1) open water - moving quickly over a very large area bombing casts both directions, and (2) a very shallow rock spot with big waves. In both cases, I wanted something that had a big presence. I'm sure the CBJ would do fine in these cases as well though. | |

| Just like everything related to musky fishing there's a time and place for everything. In bigger waves it definitely shines. Ive caught two low 30 in fish on mine, so even the smaller ones will eat it. Gives em a large target to notice and hopefully line up when youre fishing in heavier winds. | |
