Lots of factors can influence the weighting. Depth your fishing, wind, wave action, and size of the sucker.
Generally under a light chop, 12" sucker, 1 oz is usually plenty for 25' of water or less. Adjust the line length out to keep him at the depth want. You want him t run around down there.
I also think sometimes you don't want them moving around to much. Muskies can be lazy, and if the sucker keeps running away they can get disinterested. Again, at times . |
