Location: Ludington, MI | Recent 4 degree temp drop to 73, forecast for light winds and fog in the AM...
Weed/sand lake of 5,000 acres with heavy traffic on main parts after 10 a.m.
Torn between starting shallower than 8 ft. and covering water with tailprops or outside edge/open water until the skiers, tubers and other wakemakers come out.
Really don't have a great history on this lake in Aug/early Sept. Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks,
Brian |

| What's the barometer doing? If its falling I'd be going. |

| I'd be fishing shallow, like 6' and less.... My last few fish came out of 2' - 3' |

Location: Ludington, MI | Thank you, gentlemen. No muskies harmed or sighted on this trip. Caught a bass and saw a dozen 50-inch-muskie-snack-sized sheepshead in 6 or less. Quiet morning let me identify two good areas for the next temp drop.

| We were dry in WI until this weekend. This is what is happening out my window this morning:
“We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin’ rain … and big ol’ fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath.”
