Co-Pilot

I just purchased a Min Kota PD55 and was curious if anyone had any experience with the new wireless Co-pilot. Do they work reliably? How do they work out for Musky fishing?

Dazed, not sure I'm getting your point. I understand your thoughts about asking about something that's already purchased, but I haven't bought it yet. The co-pilot is an add on to the autopilots and powerdrives (which have a foot petal and works in conjunction with the co-pilot.) I merely asked to see if anybody liked the co-pilot before I shell out $150.00. I researched the power drive and felt it was the best option for my budget. Sorry if I confused you.

My dad bought one in january and has yet to install it on the boat yet. Cost 150, maybe I have to give hin a good smack. Looks like a great thing to have.

Todd, the guy I talked to at Gander said it only takes a few minutes to install. You unscrew one side plate, replace with the new co-pilot plate and re-connect.

I have one, and really like it. It is very reliable, and easy to use. Mine is on an APD 65.
