Location: Eau Claire, WI | Quite a few large fish have been moved throughout the week. Only one boated so far is a 45.5 by Mr. Sluggo/Mike Szopinski.
Extreme One/Mike Koepp's throttle cable broke the second day so his boat is on dry dock. Weather is cool, fish are chasing but not eating.
That's the update as of Thursday evening.

| Hi All,
I was only up there until Thursday evening, we saw some big fish. Was out with Mike Koepp most of the week, he could only use his kicker motor so we stayed on the north end.
Topwater seemed to be getting the most attention, the fish were following right behind the lures, one almost bonked his nose into the side of the boat when she tried to nip at my Hawg Wobbler.
We saw some other follows on spinnerbaits and jerk baits, and I think the one caught fish was on a crankbait--Beleiver, out of the reeds.
I hope the action picked up Friday and today, I had to head home to work today. Gotta load the data! Sounded like the weather would be cold, hopefully a little less windy. Wednesday's wind was so big we all gave up around 11AM.
It sounded like the gang was thinking about hitting Big Lake one of the final days, see if they could change their luck.
Take it easy,
Papa Joe

Either way, had a good time sharing my boat with you for a few days. Lets do it again next Sept!

| I'll be there,
sounds like they might make it a long weekend, possibly a 4-day deal.
I can't do much more than that anyway, I get too sore and weak.
Next year we need to hit Big Lake, I saw some fish there as big as any I saw on Cass.
Thanks again to the guys who let me slut on their boats this year! Next fall I will have my own humble boat, at least as an option.
Later,
