The PMTT Release Record was SMASHED this weekend during the Musky Hunter Late Summer Showdown on Lake St. Clair in Michigan. In the final leg of the 2018 PMTT season Lake St. Clair showed just why it is at the top of every Musky Anglers list for best lakes. The field of anglers caught and released 111 muskies with almost 50 muskies filling out the Top 10 Leader Board and a 52" muskie getting Big Fish for the Event.
Local guides Spencer Berman & Matt Quintano took home 1st Place Honors with another Record Setting 8 Fish catch. Final results for the Event will post on the PMTT website shortly. We would like to give a Special Thanks to Musky Hunter for sponsoring this Record Setting Event on St. Clair.
Up next for the PMTT is the 50K Mega Tournament on Lake Vermilion September 14th, 15th & 16th. Then the PMTT Ranger Boats World Championship on the Barbee Chain October 20th & 21st.

What makes LSC able to maintain high population compared to most other places in the musky range?
It's an ecological anomaly. Very shallow and weedy (for the most part) but also clear and relatively cool due to it being downstream Huron. Tons and tons of baitfish from tiny minnows to massive shad. Creates an extremely diverse and healthy population of all fish, including muskies.
